The group stage ends today. Three groups wrap up their final matchdays — G, H and I — and the Last Man Standing landscape gets a lot clearer by midnight.

Here's what's on the table and what to do about it.

Group I: France vs Norway / Senegal vs Iraq (3pm ET)

France are the pick here if you need one. They're the tournament's most complete side on paper, and Norway — while not without quality — haven't shown anything to suggest they can put France away.

The trap: France have already qualified. Didier Deschamps might rotate. A rotated France side against a fired-up Norway team with something to play for (top spot and a better R32 draw) is more dangerous than the odds suggest.

The context matters: both teams likely need a result to secure top spot and a favourable draw. That means both approach it seriously. No rotation. No coasting. Proper football. That's actually what you want as an LMS picker — a high-stakes game where the favourite is fully motivated.

Cape Verde vs Saudi Arabia is a free hit if you're in it, but it's genuinely 50/50 and not worth spending any premium pick on.

Group G: Belgium vs New Zealand / Egypt vs Iran (11pm ET)

Belgium are the safe pick on paper against New Zealand. The Belgians have quality throughout the squad and New Zealand are significant underdogs. But this is another case of "already qualified" risk — Belgium may not need to push themselves.

Egypt vs Iran is a genuine coin-flip. Both teams can grind out results. Neither is an LMS-worthy pick unless you're desperate.
