Yes. You can create one pool free (up to 15 players) and join as many pools as you like for free. If you want to run more pools or a bigger group, an optional Pro pass for that competition unlocks unlimited pools and room for much larger groups. Players themselves never pay Matchroom to take part.

No. Matchroom runs in the browser on any phone. Your friends tap the link you share, create a quick free account so their picks are saved to them, choose a display name, and they're in — usually in under a minute.

You share one join link. Anyone who opens it sees who invited them and how the pool works, signs in (quick and free), picks a display name, and lands straight on the picks screen. No spreadsheets, no chasing.

Last Man Standing: each round you back one team to go through. Get it right and you survive to the next round; get it wrong and you're out. You can't pick the same team twice, and the last person standing wins. Score Predictor: you predict the exact score of each game — an exact score scores 3 points, the correct result scores 1 — and the highest points total wins.

Picks lock at kickoff. In Score Predictor, a game you didn't predict simply scores nothing. In Last Man Standing, not picking in time counts against you for that round — the in-app rules screen explains exactly how that works for your pool. The simplest advice: get your pick in before the first game starts.

No. Kickoff times and pick deadlines are shown in each player's own local time, so nobody's caught out by a different timezone. Picks lock at each game's real kickoff time wherever you are.

Yes. All payments run through Stripe's secure checkout. Your card details never touch Matchroom's servers. Passes are one-time payments — there's no subscription.

There's no age limit — Matchroom is a free-to-play prediction game, so kids, parents and grandparents can all be in the same pool. It's designed to be simple enough for anyone to join in.
